About this release
The Year of the Dragon is coming to an end, are you ready for our last release in 2024? We’re unleashing an Armagnac firecracker that we’ve been looking forward to for a very long time. As the first independent bottler entrusted with a cask from this esteemed domain, we are proud to present to you the exceptional Pellehaut 1988!
Tasting Notes
This very classic Armagnac is all about richness and finesse. Rich tertiary flavours of dried stone fruits such as apricots, mirabelle plums, quinces and cherries are revealed. Underneath are deeper notes of fresh pastries and winter spices such as cinnamon and dried orange peel.
On the palate, the full bodied Armagnac is extremely round and oily, with a great sultana sweetness and slight bitterness of dried fruits and fine cocoa. The eternally long finish is full of chocolate and hints of citrus fruit.
