Die über 50 Jahre im Fass merkt man ihm ausschließlich durch die nahezu perfekte Balance der Aromen an. Nichts ist überholzt, bitter oder muffig. Ein Cognac der zum entspannten Entdecken einläd und für den man sich Zeit nehmen muss. (91/100)

All in all this is essentially as good as the Kirsch bottling, but I prefer the mellow and embracing side of the former a bit more. (92/100)
Single Cask Rum
Wow, ein richtig guter Cognac. Aber das war das Ergebnis nach der zweiten Verkostung. Beim ersten Aufeinandertreffen war es eher wie Krieg gegen die Klingonen. Der Cognac will verstanden werden. Es ist eine unglaublich komplexe Abfüllung. (90+/100)
Horizon of Rum
Il allie le meilleur des deux mondes avec l’âge qui l’assagit et le degré d’alcool qui lui permet de s’exprimer pleinement sans pour autant être agressif. Le nez est pour moi un cran au dessus de la bouche, mais l’ensemble reste vraiment très bon et surprenant. Bravo pour cette belle sélection! (90/100)
Tasting Bros
Really good, provided you’re willing to play around with water almost instantly. Even then it never manages to make the wood leave center stage. I would almost describe it as a mix between heavy style rum (Fourquare, let’s say) and cognac. Interesting. (88/100)

Wer Cognac für langweilig hält, wird hier eines besseren belehrt: Eleganz und Kraft schließen sich nicht aus. Mit etwas Wasser verdünnt fächert er sich noch etwas auf, was Frucht angeht.
